4 DIY Pain Relief Oils You Can Make at Home

adminadmin03/22/2026 850 Minutes read0

Turmeric is one of the most well-known natural ingredients people reach for when dealing with inflammation, stiffness, or joint discomfort. It has been used in wellness traditions for generations and remains a popular choice in homemade remedies for body soreness and mobility support.

To make a simple turmeric massage oil, mix 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder, 4 teaspoons of almond oil, and 2 to 3 drops of lemongrass oil. Combine everything well in a bowl and apply directly to the area you wish to massage. One important note: turmeric can stain, so use it carefully and avoid putting it on before wearing light-colored clothing. Almond oil is a great choice here because it feels soft and gentle on the skin, while lemongrass adds a fresh, slightly invigorating touch. This oil works nicely for knees, shoulders, and other stiff areas after a long day. It’s simple, effective, and easy to fit into your routine without much effort.

Just remember to keep the mixture away from broken skin and always wash your hands after using it.
